Hi, I’m Kimberlee

I discovered yoga nearly 20 years ago when my grandmother handed me Robert Hittleman’s 28-Day Yoga Program. But my practice began in earnest in 2010 when I bought a 60-day unlimited package at a small studio near my job.

At the time, I was a magazine editor, and despite living my dreams, I was stressed out, unhealthy and unhappy.

That 60-day pass became a gateway to a regular yoga practice and when the pass expired, I found my way to a CorePower Yoga studio in Huntington Beach where I discovered an empowering community, and a practice that helped me find balance and strength — physically, mentally, and emotionally as well. And it was at CorePower that I first heard the call to become a yoga teacher.

Life took me on a journey from the beach to the desert and I earned my 600-hour certification at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Arizona. I am so grateful to my teachers who provided me with a well-rounded education and helped me develop a passion for leading a strong and grounded yoga practice, rooted in the foundations of yoga philosophy and the anatomy of movement.

My mission is to make yoga accessible for all levels, by dispelling the myth that yoga is for the already flexible and strong. I use storytelling to connect yoga to real life, and I offer lots of options and modifications in class to empower you to make sustainable progress, and connect to your own inner and outer strength.

I am E-RYT 200/RYT 500 and I teach a variety of styles including Power Vinyasa, Hot Power Fusion, Core Strength Vinyasa, Yoga HiiT, Yin, Restorative and Mythic yoga at several locations in the East Valley.
